These were the bad boys used by the Iranians to bomb ISIS at Deir Ezzor, possibly along with some other missiles. I wonder Haley was standing in front of some of their fragments were mixed into the clown show that she was running.
Good point.
In Israel they can rest assured, between them and the IRAN there are 1300 km and this reaches up to 700.
They don’t rest assured, as they know Iran has missiles of greater range then this.
Yes, correct. Israeli government can rest assured that Iran wouldn’t retaliate with this specific type of missile launched from Tehran. Now they just need to worry about Iran’s other weapons (or even this missile launched closer to the target) in case they attacked Iran and Iran retaliated.
This part is not really related to the missiles, but to the range. During Iraq’s attack on Iran in the ’80s, Iran’s airforce made it so costly for Iraqi airforce to operate. Saddam moved almost all his planes to near Jordan airbase (a complex named H3 consist of 3 airbases) “rest assured” it’s out of Iranian jets’ range. Guess what? Iran airforce reached there and bombed the bases and planes on the ground, an ~6000 km mission over enemy’s territory with 2000km range jets. Iran claimed they destroyed 48 planes with no loss. This operation (H-3 airstrike) is considered among the world’s best aerial missions.
Now if Syria and Hezbollah have these missiles, Israel will think twice before it bombs Beirut or Damascus. Israel can be paid in kind.
This is great achievement for science technology. But we need to be aware for control the miss use of technology. I like this if they can control the technolize invention.
