The Russian military maintains the initiative in different directions around the Donetsk urban agglomeration. Fierce battle is ongoing in the town of Krasnogorovka.
The local refractory plant located in the eastern part of the town was turned into a fortified stronghold of the ARmed Forces of Ukraine. The recently shared footage from Krasnogorovka confirmed that the Russian military launched successful assault on this large facility and completed the mop up operation at least in some of the industrial buildings. More footage was shared by Russian military sources, showing the results of heavy battle for the refractory plant. The mop up operations continue there.
Amid the battles for the plant, Russian troops advanced in the town center. They bypassed the plant from the east and are now fighting in multystorey buildings in the eastern part of Krasnogorovka.
According to the reports from the front, the Geologicheskaya Street, as well as part of the private sector up to the local kindergarten, came under the control of the Russian army. This means that the attack on the Ukrainian positions from the east is developing successfully and further progress can soon be expected.

when the russians were driven out of the villages one to two years ago, they left them completely intact, because they didn’t want to fight inside the civil structures of their own people. after the ukrainians are driven out, there is nothing left.
we will se how this develops ones the russians approach “natively ukrainian” villages. will the ukrainian soldiers still like to left everything in ruins while hiding in their civil structures? or will they start fighting openly in the fields?
not meaning to be too picky and i am not a military expert of any sort, but looking at the map provided it looks to me like the rus are attacking krasnogorovka on it’s southern flank – not from the east.
what does it mean “bypassed the plant from the east”? that seems to suggest that they moved from the east, around the plant, but rus are moving from the west and south from look of the map.
it’s just that i would like to actually understand.

wow! i know war is hell but that first tank assault video with three tanks working together to support infantry was amazing! i know footage was sped up to fit music but the way those russian tank drivers just drove through concrete walls was awesome! was also impressed that the new cowling on tanks seems to still enable them to swivel gun enough to aim and shoot. impressive.
