The first footage of the Ukrainian Mi-8 helicopter of the Ukrainian Air Force recently intercepted by the Russian air defence means was shared online.
On January 30, the Russian Ministry of Defence confirmed that Ukrainian mi-8 helicopter was shot down in the area of Novodarovka in the Zaporozhie region. The footage shows that the Ukrainian crew did not survive.
On January 31, the Russian Defence Ministry reported that another Ukrainian Mi-8 helicopter was shot down by Russian air defense means near the village of Zolotaya Balka in the Kherson region.
In total, since the beginning of the Russian special military operation in Ukraine, 381 aircraft, 206 helicopters, 2987 unmanned aerial vehicles, 402 anti-aircraft missile systems, 7691 tanks and other armored combat vehicles, 997 multiple rocket launchers, 3970 field artillery and mortars, as well as 8229 units of special military vehicles have been destroyed.
