The Russian armed forces handed over military equipment taken as a trophy from the Ukrainian Armed Forces to L/DPR forces.
The L/DPR People’s Militias received the Osa air defense system, tanks, armored vehicles of various models, including British Saxon armored personnel carriers, pontoon bridges, artillery and many other weapons. The L/DPR forces received US, German and British-made ATGMs that were supplied to the Kiev regime by their Western partners.
The Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation added that among other weapons, 113 tanks and 138 Javelin ATGMs were transferred to the L/DPR.
A day before, the Armed Forces of Russia occupied the storage base of military equipment of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Tanks, MTLB, and the Strela-10 air defense system were captured as trophies.

Earlier, on March 5, the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation confirmed that Russian servicemen took control of the AFU military base near the village of Radensk near Kherson.
