In Video: Ethiopian Mi-35 Helicopter Shot Down By Tigrayan Rebels

Illustrative Image

On November 11th, rebels of the Tigray People’s Liberation Front (TPLF) shot down an Ethiopian Air Force helicopter.

The Ethiopian Mi-35 was shot down by Tigrayan anti-aircraft units over the Mille area days after the government bombed targets in Tigray.

Later, the claims were confirmed by a video showing the attack.

The Tigray Defense Forces, supported by the Oromo Liberation Front and seven other groups had already captured the strategic towns of Dessie and Kombolcha. The rebels are moving south in order to secure a wider corridor for their potential reinforcements.

Militants are dead set on storming the capital and overthrowing the central government.

With what? You need Manpads or SAMs to do that. Who is arming the rebels?
