Fierce clashes continue along the whole front lines in the Donbass region. While Russian and LPR forces are advancing in the north in an attempt to incircle the Ukrainian Armed Forces deployed in Severodonetsk, Slavyansk and Kramatorsk, DPR units supported by Russian servicemen push Ukrainian forces out from the outskirts of the city of Donetsk.
Near the capital of the Donetsk People’s Republic, the main hotspots are the areas near the towns of Maryinka and Avdiivka.
In Avdiivka, fierce clashes continue in the industrial zone of the town, without any successes by any of the warring sides. To the north of Avdiivka, clashes continue in the villages of Novoselka-2 and Novobakhmutovka. Units of the DPR People’s Militia are also advancing towards Troitskoye and Novoselovka in order to reach the village of New York.
The Russian military sources have recently shared footage showing the fierce fighting in the area.
The footage made by a Russian UAV, shows the ATGM of the DPR Sparta battalion destroying the fortified positions of the AFU near Avdiivka.
Another video shows shelling by the Somalia assault battalion of the DPR with D-20 guns. About 15 Ukrainian servicemen near Avdiivka were neutralised.

No, he does have a point. Look at the troop movements in recent days. Kiev Forces have been digging in and fortifying the western banks of the Dnierper River. Ukraine recent actions by Ukraine may demonstrate opening against Transnistria in coming days or weeks in an attempt to digest Russian forces. Belarusian forces are also a threat for them still to the north and should be kept in mind. That said, it is still a possibility that Kiev will go full force to the east, which would most likely lead to greater casualties on their side, as they don’t have the logistics to maintain that front at the moment.

Yeah I noticed that too; a lot of craters all around and just one or two as direct hit. Must be some way to keep UAF in place while making moves with own troops. Highly inaccurate arty on all fronts.
It is all DPR/LPR and the Chechens. These are the same groups that were fighting in Mariupol. The exact same battalions. Based on video evidence, you can’t prove that a single solder from the regular Russian army is even in Ukraine.
The Russians control the sky and great to see them in action in that video clip. One can’t but wonder how much longer it will be before the Ukrainian soldiers lose all hope of winning, and then decide to surrender instead of being killed for nothing. They all must surely know that the war is already lost?
Perhaps if Russia just built up another 1 or 200k of troops near the border, with no intent to go into ukraine. Would help make them think , we’re f#*ked
Yes, Why not? The Nato controllers of Ukraine would have to work overtime to try and figure out exactly what Putin was planning to do. To surprise the enemy or to keep him guessing are great tactics well worth a shot. (no pun intended)
