Never bunch up like that, those were obviously not very well-trained fodder. They had no perimeter set up and none of them were paying attention to their surroundings. I thin k one Russia gets out of these mountainous areas; the war tactics will change a bit. If the Ukranian military is till viable one the battle gets to the plains, it favors them (due to western weaponry), if they are a demoralized lot after being pummeled for so long by Russian artillery, then the Russian advance will be swift to the cities and then a street-to-street battle of attrition. Personally, Russia needs to secure a parameter around the cities and bypass them until they cut off all weapons supplies to the Ukraine, then they can go back and take them one at a time.

Right now as we speak I guarantee you a little boy or girl is staring out through their window just waiting for their father to return from the war. They will never see them again.
