More than 24 vehicles, mainly modified pick-up trucks, can be seen in the video. Most of the vehicles appear to be in mint condition.
“The distance traveled by this vehicle is equal to the length of the road between Aden and Dali’ plus five days of service in the Yemeni military and popular committees [official name for the Houthis military wing]. As such, most of the vehicles here, which were used by the Yemeni military and the popular committees, were used in the battles to clear the province of Dali’,” a reporter of the media wing says in the video while pointing at one of the pick-ups.
The video also shows loads of weapons, including heavy machine guns, mortar cannons, assault rifles and rocket-propelled grenades of different types like the Yugoslav-made M79 Osa.
In the last two months, the Houthis launched a series of military operations in Dali’. As a result of these efforts, the resistance group imposed control of several key areas in the province, thus threatening the coalition’s presence in central Yemen.
