On February 8, the Iraqi Air Force carried out an airstrike on an ISIS command post in the north of the country.
According to the statement of Iraqi security forces, F-16 fighter jets struck the militants’ shelter, which was a cave 140 meters long. The air strike was carried out on the border of the provinces of Salah-ed-Din and Ninawa.
According to preliminary data, seven terrorists who held command positions were eliminated.
Seven terrorists were eliminated… And the rest??? use drones…
If they actually hit the cave with that Bunker-Buster bomb, instead of getting the clear ‘near miss’ (study the footage) a lot more than 7 fighters would have been killed.
A follow up with another bunker-buster would have helped – its almost as if they weren’t actually trying……………
Not that I wish anything but ill for Islamists, but that was clearly a miss.
