A column of Russia’s BMPT “Terminator” armored fighting vehicle (AFV) was spotted in the zone of the Russia’s special military operation in Ukraine.
Not so long ago, these vehicles were deployed on the front lines in the Luhansk People’s Republic to support Russian-led forces in street battles.
For the first time, the BMPT “Terminator” was spotted moving near the city of Severodonetsk. Earlier, the AFVs were seen in the Russian border regions before the beginning of the Russian special military operation in Ukraine.
The Russian tank support combat vehicle is designed to suppress enemy manpower with grenade launchers, anti-tank complexes and small arms. The armament of the Terminator BMPT includes two 30 mm 2A42 automatic cannons, a 7.62mm tank machine gun, automatic grenade launchers AG-17D and ATGM “Kornet”. The vehicle is based on the chassis of the Russian-made main battle tank T-72 and capable of destroying infantry vehicles, tanks and other armoured targets.

The BMPT-72 or “Terminator 2” tank support combat vehicle is designed and manufactured by the Russian company Uralvagonzavod for supporting tanks and other armoured combat vehicles in urban areas. The “Terminator 2” was launched at the Russian Arms Expo (RAE) exhibition in Russia’s Nizhny Tagil in September 2013.

It seems to me rather the quality of the recorder and the amateurishness of the recording person are responsible for the poor quality of the video.

Javelin’s are over hyped by US marketing machine for sales – modern tandem charge HEAT warhead RPG’s are just as effective, and in 2006 put halt to Merkava’s easily.

Javelins that are the old inventory stock! AUF are now banned from using Telgram, becoz they have been talking smack on it about the high failure rates of use-by-expired Javelins and NLAWs (explosives expire and degrade – then they go pffzzzz not bang!). That aside, Terminators are specifically designed to fuck with enemy infantry that can threaten the RuA tanks corps with man mobile weapons, they throw out smoke and frag grenades and rake the area with dual 30mm auto cannon fire at very low and/or very high trajectory angles to hit troops in trenches/basements or upper floors/rooftops.
The problem is the Russians have figured out the range of the Javelin and have good battlefield surveillance radars that can see a ATGM crew before they get within range.
In an interview the Canadian super soldier “Wali” said he tried to get within javelin range for a month and couldn’t get a single shot off and if he got close he was seen and had to run from tank rounds. Ukrainian members of his team were killed by tank rounds but he survived.
Walli thought the Donbass and DPR/LPR forces was going to be Afghanistan again – like shooting at Taliban militia with AK rifles and RPK MG’s that he could easily out distanced in range. Nope, Walli got a big shock. Because it is a mechanized war over open terrain – artillery and tanks reign. Snipers are not the priority (or self appointed legends) over a heavily mechanized open battlefield. It is fast dynamic theater, where static snipers can quickly get left behind the action, or worse quickly caught out in the open. This is why Walli packed up his kit and went home on the double.
Oh its the first version based on the T-90 hull with twin 30mm grenade launchers either side of the hull interesting, wonder how they will go? Finally we get to see them in action?

wish suggest to Russian do not form long columns of tanks using normal roads on avoid be shameless targeted by ukrotards, as they got already, unless they can temporarily jam spy satellites or drones during the trip. Tanks can move in small group and off-road no???
Ukraine has the deepest and most fertile on earth. Ergo, in wet weather moving heavy vehicles off roads is very difficult. June/July are the most likely dates for a general Russian offensive, in my opinion.

Did anyone else notice Ukraine has a really shitty hockey team. They are ranked lower then Japan, South Korea, china, Switzerland. Gotta be by far the worst team in the northern European region. Worse then a lot of countries with a whole lot less people then them. Even Italy ranked higher then them.
