On October 14 evening, the Kurdish news agency ANF released a video showing a large miltiary column of the Syrian Army within the Syrian Democratic Forces-controlled area in southern Raqqah. The convoy included several battle tanks and armoured vehicles.
According to pro-government sources, this convoy was moving towards the area of Ain Issa after the deployment of Syrian Army units in the town of Tabqah.

Did you notice the Russian flags on at least two vehicles? Very nice. :-)
I think some will be Russian MPs from Chechnia, a friend in the Army (Ru) posted me a picture of some of these men. Like the Gurkhas, very tough.
Syrian Civil War Map isn’t showing the Turkish force as having reached the M4 anywhere. Though they are showing an expanded Turkish footprint on the border compared to yesterday.
I don’t see the Turks clearing their border from Manbij to the Iraqi border down to the M4 and resettling 3 million refugees there like Erdogan is talking about. With the road open from northern Dier Ezzor up to the M4. Everything east of there will be in the hands of the SAA unless the Kurds give them a hard time. And so far I’m not aware of the Turkish forces getting in direct combat with the SAA.
That doesn’t mean that they won’t. But if they do then they’re going to have to deal with heavy weapons and air power that they don’t have to deal with when they’re only dealing with the SDF. Which is essentially an infantry only force at this time. Though they do have hundreds of US supplied military vehicles. Many of them armored. Including heavy armored trucks.
Air power? Air Russian/Syrian aircraft flying east of the Euphrates yet?
They have been the entire war.

Several battle tanks? More like dozens. Just wondering how many BMPs are involved? And Russian flag on one of the tanks too.
