In Video: Liwa al-Tha’arin Confirmed Recent Drone Attack On U.S. Base In Iraqi Kurdistan

On July 25, a newly-founded group calling itself Liwa al-Tha’arin [the Rebel Brigade] published a video showing the drone attack on a military base of the US-led coalition near the town of al-Harir in the Iraqi Kurdistan Region.

The attack took place on July 23 and targeted the second largest U.S. base in Iraq with a Murad-4 drone. According to the Sabereen News channel on Telegram, the target of the attack was a hangar where drones operated by the US Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) were stored.
