New video from Ukrainian frontlines shows destruction of another American M1A1 Abrams tank in service with the Armed Forces of Ukraine. The tank was probably immobilised by Russian drone strike and it abandoned by the Ukrainian military in the field. As a result, the Abrams was destroyed by Russian high-precision ammunition Krasnopol. The incident reportedly took place in the Avdeevka direction.
After they lost a large number of the expensive US-made tanks and ruined their prestige on the global market, Ukrainian servicemen finally decided to upgrade the American tanks with Russian invention – anti-drone grilles together with the Soviet Kontakt-1 explosive reactive armour. However, this upgrade cannot protect the tanks from the strikes of Russian Krasnopol and numerous other weapons.
