On December 18, the Russian Federal Service for Ecological, Technological and Nuclear Supervision Rostekhnadzor announced that it had confirmed the technological readiness of the railway part of the bridge across the Kerch Strait.

In Canada it would have taken them 10 years to build this bridge because of the environmental permits requirements.

we have been waiting for 45 years for a fast train link between sydney and melbourne. It is only 800 km and takes about 10 hrs or more today on a train.
