Russia should add reactive armor upgrades on their surplus T-34, install automated fire control systems/thermal optics, create a new AP shell for its main gun, and sell it to some countries to use it for infantry support. It’s outdated main gun is obviously not a fair match for heavily armored T-72, M1 Abrams, or other tanks modern armor. But for use only infantry support would be more suitable. Tell me a fully upgraded T-34 rolling around smashing some jihadi terrorists in Syria wouldn’t be cool. That would be epic.
