On December 10, Russia and Laos launched their first-ever joint military exercise involving more than 500 soldiers from both countries and numerous tanks. The nine-day drill Laros 2019 is being held at the Ban Peng training ground in Laos. The development is sign of the strengthening military ties between Russia and Laos amid the growth of Russia as an important power in Southeast Asia.
Considering that Myanmar is the US/UK’s next target, a Russian – Lao Treaty would be logical. That upcoming war will be directed at Burma, but with the idea of denying China access to the Indian Ocean and by creating an “Caliphate”, grabbing her of-shore oil wells if possible.
I’m surprised China isn’t involved.
When the day comes, they will be.
Damn, Putz Putin’s Russia is back in the big leagues. It held a military exercise with Laos. Meanwhile, the US holds military exercises with Japan, South Korea and NATO.
