On February 14, Russian forces shot down Ukrainian Mi-8 helicopter near the village of Rabotino in the Zaporozhie region. The report was confirmed by the footage from the front.
The helicopter of the Ukrainian Air Force was destroyed by Russian anti-tank missile. The Mi-8 was ambushed by servicemen of the Russian 42nd motorized rifle division of the 58th army of the Southern Military District.
According to the reports from the front, Ukrainian Mi-8 helicopter repeatedly appeared in the area of Rabotino. It operated at low altitude and escaped immediately after it launched strikes on Russian positions. Today, the crew was ambushed by Russian forces with the Kornet ATGM.

ive never seen russian 2k22 tunguska or zsu23-4 shilka on the front lines or nearby. why? russia have dozents of both and both are very good for close airdefence and anti drone warfare.
for the same reason nobody has jammers, except the soldiers who bought and installed it with their own money.
if you rely only on the things that russia’s ministry of defense gives you, you’ll last about 5 min on the battlefield. if you wanna live you need to be self reliant and pretty much completely ignore the ministry. pretty much the way wagner fights, which is what makes them so effective.
it’s why the mod hates wagner so much.
