The Russian Aerospace Forces (VKS) had destroyed a large underground command post of ISIS in central Syria, RusVesna.SU reported on May 15.
According to the outlet, Su-24M and Su-34 warplanes of the VKS carried out a series of pinpoint airstrikes on the post in the eastern countryside of Homs. As a result of the airstrikes, ten tons of TNT explosives, which were stored in the post, blew up.
At least 20 terrorists, including a number of ISIS field commanders, were killed inside the underground post, which was completely destroyed.
The VKS intensified its combat operations against ISIS cells in central Syria in the last few months in order to support government forces, which face repeated attacks by the terrorists.
On May 13, more than 40 Russian airstrikes on ISIS hideouts were carried out in several parts of the central region. Two terrorists were killed.
On the same day, ISIS terrorists killed 12 pro-government fighters and injured 12 others in two separate attacks on the al-Quds Brigade next to the ancient city of Palmyra and the town of al-Sukhnah in eastern Homs.
The VKS’ support has been vital to the success of all recent counter-terrorism operations in the central region of Syria. Nevertheless, more efforts are needed to fully neutralize ISIS cells in the region.

Not sure that would put any dent on eliminating the ISIS. The command and control center of the ISIS is in Israel. Never seen the ISIS attacking Israeli assets.
