On February 17, two Su-27 fighters from the air defense forces of the Air Force and Air Defense Combine of the Russian Southern Military District were deplyoed to monitor targets that came close to Russian airspace over the Black Sea. The fighter jets intercepted a KS-135 aerial refuelling and transport aircraft and two Mirage 2000 fighters of the French Air Force.
su-27 is joke! It has RCS of 15m^2 and very bad radar!! lousy pulse dopler mech N001 radar can track a 3m^2 target at 65km!!!! That means it can only detect F-35 at 4.9KM!!!! HE HE
and even worse is su-35! huge radar signature of BALLOON! 3-5 m^2, lousy PESA irbis-E radar can ONLY track 1m2 target at 100km!! that mean it can NOT see F-35 past 10KM HE HE

M-2000 cost 1/3 of SU-35 and the only difference is distance and weight. M-2000 seem to be quite a good cheap lightweight fighter.
