On March 10, the Saudi-led coalition announced that it had destroyed an air-defense system of the Houthis (Ansar Allah) in central Yemen.
Saudi-led coalition warplanes targeted the system, a Soviet-made SA-6 “Gainful,” in the province of Ma’rib, where the Houthis are currently leading a large-scale ground operation against Saudi-backed forces.
A video released by the Saudi-led coalition shows the destruction of a 2P25 transporter erector launcher (TEL) of the system, a nearby missile depot and an unidentified radar system.

A locally upgraded version of the SA-6 air-defense system dubbed “Fater-1” is in service with the Houthis. The Yemeni-upgraded system has a range of 22 km. The Houthis used the system in the past against warplanes and drones of the Saudi-led coalition and the US.
Last week, the Houthis shot down a Vestel Karayel combat drone of the Saudi-led coalition over al-Jawf. The Fater-1 system may have been used to down the drone.
Despite its vast resources, the Saudi-led coalition rarely manages to hunt down the Houthis’ air-defense means. Last year, the coalition destroyed a P-18 early warning radar of the Houthis in the outskirts of the Yemeni capital Sanaa.
Today, the Houthis’ air-defense capabilities pose a threat to aerial operations of the Saudi-led coalition in Yemen more than ever before.

Now that leaves not too many choices. Pakistan also refused, so now the Saudis are grooming Indians to join in.
3. US and western pilots indiscriminately bombed Yemeni civilians, which is a tribal culture only produced more Ansarallah recruits and tougher resistance.
4. The Saudis and their mercenaries have lost every battle to the khat chewing sandal clad flip flop Ansarallah natural born warriors. The Saudis have lost 70% of the armor.
5.The Ansarallah missiles and drones now attack the Saudi cities, including the capital and oil fields at will. The US and Zionist anti-missile systems have been a colossal failure.
6. The Saudis are in the process of losing Marib and the oil fields. The Houthis are at the gates of Aden, barring a miracle or full scale NATO intervention, the Saudis are dead men walking.

US has blocked the sale of 30 Turkish attack helicopters to Pakistan.

The Army Chief during his trip to Saudi Arabia, he had visited the Headquarters of Royal Saudi Land Force, the Joint Force Command Headquarters and King Abdul Aziz Military Academy. Saudi Arabia identifies India as one of the Kingdom’s Strategic Partner Countries under its ‘Vision 2030’. There is no mention of defence collaboration wit India’s arch enemy Pakistan.
