Not all jihadists are equal. Some of the turkic jihadists are russian-trained ex-military types and they aren’t a pushover. I think there are a lot of them in Latakia and northern Idlib which may be why the SAA is having limited success there. However, even top-notch soldiers are not immune to being starved and isolated

That plague is called Wahhabism.
Yes, that’s right, and there are many of Europeans converts to Wahhabism there. From any part of Europe, especially western, and in lesser extent southeast. Usually those are former criminals, drug-addicteds, hippies, vagabonds, raff, dinks, new ages, and all of the worst scum one can thing of. Wahhabism is menace to the World’s peace and happiness.

Wahhabism is Satanistic-spiritism camouflaged as a ‘purest’ form of Islam, a ‘religion’. This is the most vile and evil movement, sect, whatever, ever. Any government, any priest, any state, or religious community is as evil as they are if tolerates them and crimes that they’re committing on the daily basis.
Yes, to explain further, the various Wahhabi/Salafi/Takfiri sects are sick perversions of Islam with a common ideology of killing any and all kuffar ” unbelievers ” . These are not death cults but rather killing cults openly calling for wholesale and indiscrimate slaughter of Syrian Christians, Shia, Druse, Yazidi, Armenian, Ismaeli etc.. men, women, children, infants. These killers have no other purpose in life than to kill the kuffar to please Allah. In their own minds they really believe they are doing Allah’s will when they slaughter innocent children beacause some “cleric ” recites the Quraan urging them to kill the unfaithfull. This is why they rejoice when they cut cut throats and hold up severed heads and boast of killing babies – to them this is not murder but following the commands to the faithfull and so pleasing to the eye of Allah and securing their place in paradise – make no mistake: this IS the primitive, vile, sick mindset of the typical jihadi and this is why they will continue to kill whenever they can until beaten.
They’re mostly killing muslims, and this doesn’t have any remote conection with Islam, or with religion. Also, they do not have anything to do with Jihad in it’s definition by the Islamic scholars. Because of them, nowadays Islam=Terror.
Looks more like they’re about to set up defensive positions, not participate in an upcoming assault operation. All the SAA’s best stuff is in western Aleppo, that’s where Assad has his highly mobile armoured strike force stationed, and that’s where I’m expecting any major push into Idlib to start, not here. The Turks have been helping the Turkmen to defend this area from the very start of the uprising, actively targeting the SAA with their artillery and lending complete support to the Turkmen, which means Erdogan will put up the most resistance to losing this area, so I don’t think the SAA will view this as the next viable target at all, probably the complete opposite, they’ll make it one of their last targets, unless of course they actually want to antagonize Erdogan, then this would be one of the best place to do that.
