Units of the Nuclear, Biological and Chemical Protection Troops of the Russian Armed Forces have carried out live-fire drills involving their TOS-1 multiple rocket launcher and thermobaric weapon systems. The drills took place in the region of Volgograd.

Just to be fair, the Buratino, TOS-1(A), is an “old” system. It have been in service for close to 10 years now, if im not mistaken. The Iraqi army used it in Mosul and SAA in 2014 or 2015.
Perhaps they are just testing new warheads, or even a new version of it? TOS-1AM perhaps?
