why bomber planes are never used on targets like these and trenchers, there are no civilians so these planes can be deployed in this kind of area
Battlefield management. Ukraine doesn’t have an air force but they still have S-300’s. Russia can defeat Ukraine offensive using mainly artillery, mines and tactical aircraft but if the war escalates they can’t necessarily survive an all out NATO attack without an air force. They don’t have a lot of S-34, 35’s compared to NATO aircraft so they can’t afford to lose any.
