Newly shared footage from Ukrainian frontlines showed the Armed Forces of Ukraine using drones to set fire on Russian military positions in forest areas.
According to reports from the front, Ukrainian UAVs approach Russian positions almost senselessly. The drones spread the so-called Termit incendiary mixture. The drones are carrying a pot with incendiary powder, after activation the mixture breaks through the bottom and flows down to the target that needs to be burned.
The incendiary drones are performing the function of flamethrowers. They are dangerous to enemy manpower and may inflict severe burns to Russian soldiers. The mixture reportedly cannot be extinguished by water.
So far, such Ukrainian UAVs have been spotted in the Kharkiv region but the Ukrainian military is expected to deploy them in other directions.
bed wench harris tether would be beaten to death by the fascist white supremacists of the following organizations: ss aidar, ss kraken, wolfsangel (aka azov), waffen ss nachtigal (who are now in kursk killings civilians), leibstandarte ss adolf hitler, right sektor – all of them hate mongrels like her, and all of them are leading the ukrainian government and military. all of them funded by the us and eu tax payers
these savages are burning whole forests and perpetrating ecocide
too bad the greens onyl care about the environment if they can blame it on russia, china or india.
this is a horrible development that will be copied and refined by russia, only to be made much worse. this is going to be a norm for clearing out forest positions in the future. possible civilian blow back, this is worse then the invention of the flame thrower.
drone easy to shot down ( slow and with flames revealing the position)
cheap drones, it dont matter if they are shot down, easier and cheaper to use. why move artillery close to where it could be in danger, just fly some drones over and bomb them. this tactic will be expanded for sure, and people will suffer.
well its this that is a problem – copy! ukraine was first by using drones, and then russia copied. now ukraine first by using this method, and russia will copy for sure. battles are not won by copy.
“battles are not won by copy” – battles are won by copy made better.
china has been copying for 80 years and has thus become the number 1 economic power! that ukraine is now copying the iranians or turks does not have to be either an advantage or a disadvantage, the question is answered by success!
much like vietnam, just using drones instead of airplanes
yep, burn out the hiding spots. nothing will be able to hide from the drones
why are drones used ? grad has some rockets with termite : no more grad ? russia don’t need to do it with drones. did you ever see the consequences of any tos flamethrower system strike?
yes but tos needs to get close to danger zone, and is vulnerable to country battery fire. they will make a thousand cheap drones to the cost of 1 tos, and they wont care if they lose the drones. the tos system needs trained men that are not as easy to replace. this is a bad development, but yes the thermite bombing is very nasty too.
you still make a good argument. tos can take out deeply embeded snipers in fortified apartment blocks and that kind of drone is only effective on open trenches. ewcm, shot guns and ad work on drones, but can’t stop a tos system that is well defended and properly supported from 10km away using recon drone forward targeting.
no doubt, tos is some evil shiet. i just see these thermite dropping drones being expanded and it will be like the invention of the flame thrower back in the day. it will get upgrades and it will be a horrible way to die. but nothing comes close to the horror of the tos…
rus teraz iba odkuká a neskôr príde s vlastnou verziou. tá bude však omnoho lepšia, viac sofistikovaná. svetu mier!!!
why are any enemy drones still flying? there should be an electronic wall blocking them or taking over the guidance sending them back to nazi trenches✌️
thermite is cheap and efficient against steel. it’s used as cutting device in démolition. you can use it in a sticky bomb dropped by a drone on a tank. but it’s probably not the best option as incendiary device against soldiers. white phosporus is better and easier to ignite. napalm is cheap but need large volume containers and thus planes to drop it.
thermite is a mixture of iron oxide (basically, rust) and aluminum; it is among the most widely used incendiary materials. the thermite reaction is as follows: fe2o3 + 2al → al2o3 + 2fe. an unusual choice, due to its high cost. white phosphorus is a solid which burns readily in air.
russians need to up their game. all rifles should have under the barrel shotguns loaded with birdshot.
burnt orc smells like shit…heheheh
wow, thats some seriously nasty shit, i feel sorry for the guys on the receiving end.
probably there was nobody touched by this since, it a easily spotted attack, once it’s start releasing that flame it will be detected quickly. still the russian should return the nazis the favor in the same way.
it’s going to get very hot in moscow very soon!
lets wait and russia deploy the same thing but much worse . then kiev will bo more hoter then moscow
with no lights on of course lol. these ukraine tards think they are going to march on moscow…
sarebbe opportuno intercettare l’industria bellica produttrice della miscela incendiaria termit e relativa polvere incendiaria.
ukro has given another good idea to russian force now russia will burn the ukro 10 times more in forst and other area.
not going to be anywhere to hide
fvcking horrific.
witepohospohorus or napalm?
