Amid the ongoing heavy battles on various fronts, the world is falling into a black hole of information confrontation and the reality is often different from media reports.
War is not the arrows on the maps but a combination of someone’s personal actions, heroic deeds or fainthearted betrayals. While some are fighting on the battlefield, their rear is fighting for the souls and minds of the enemy, looking for his weaknesses.
The war in Ukraine is an illustrative example of modern information warfare. It was marked by staged massacres, fake reports, large media campaigns that have become an integral part of the global standoff. All parties are forced to build and control their media sphere especially at the hot stage fo the conflict. The one who does it best increases chances of winning, harming his enemy not only on the battlefield but also in his soul.
Kiev supported the entire propaganda maschine of the West does not stop looking for Russia’s weaknesses. Since the very beginning of the Russian Special Military Operations, they relied on different tactics in an attempt to intimidate and demotivate the military on the front and provoke unrest in the rear. So far, to no avail.
One of the Western tactics has always been to put pressure on the multinational population of the Russian Federation. In the military propaganda, which also affects the behaviour of Ukrainian militants on the frontlines, soldiers of the Russian army of non-Russian nationalities are often humiliated; Ukrainian propaganda assures that there is no mutual understanding and coordination is poore between Russian multinational units.
The reality on the frontlines proves the opposite. The pace of Russian offensive and the effectiveness of Russian operations clearly demonstrate the great level of communication and coordination between troops, including in units that unite fighters from all over the vast country.
One of the recently shared videos is a clear example. Volunteers from the Russian 155th Marine Guards Brigade of the Pacific Fleet were completing the mop up operation in the village of Lyubimovka in the Kursk region. Returning from the combat operation, fighters from the Far Eastern Primorsky Krai found wounded soldiers from Chechnya in a basement and came to the rescue. They provided their own car to evacuate the wounded, but it was struck by Ukrainian fpv drone on the way to the rear base. A new evacuation group was needed urgently. Risking their lives, volunteers found the way out went for help and took all the wounded out from the battlefield. In a matter of minutes, the damaged car was burned by repeated Ukrainian attack.
“Another confirmation that there is no division between strangers and friends at the front among the Russian military brotherhood. We are all brothers,” the comments read.
The video also shows the high level of motivation of the Russian military. Unlike the retreating Ukrainian forces, who are fleeing from their military positions abandoning their dead and wounded comrades, Russian fighters are doing everything possible to save each other’s lives, despite the threat of being killed or wounded.
Indeed, since the very beginning of Russia’s full-scaled operations in Ukraine, the West has relied on inciting hatred and enmity in Russia, including through provocations based on ethnic grounds. They led to the opposite result. The Russians discovered that were delusional about the West, its policy and perverted ideas. They have become much more united both at the front and in the rear.
