Another archive video showed a Russian Orlan-10 UAV surviving Ukrainian strike with anti-aircraft missile over the special military operation zone in Ukraine.
Earlier, numerous similar videos confirmed impotence of Ukrainian forces to struck the Russian UAV, including with the foreign weapons. LINK, LINK
In the vide, the missile, reportedly a man-portable air-defense system (MANPADs), passes next to the drone. However, it fails to inflict any damage. The drone continue its reconnaissance mission after the attack.
The Orlan-10, which was developed by Russia’s Special Technology Center, has a flight duration of 16 hours and a range of 140 kilometers. The drone can be equipped with several types of sensors to carry out a set of different missions including reconnaissance, 3D-mapping, electronic warfare and communication relay.
Orlan-10 drones have been supporting the Russian special military operation in Ukraine since it started. More than 1,000 are known to be in service with the Russian military.

Ukraine received thousands of MANPADs, including more than 1,600 American-made FIM-92 Stinger missiles, from the United States and other NATO members in the months leading to the Russian special military operation, and after the start of the operation.
Kiev forces also received several vehicle-mounted short-range air defense systems, including British-made Stormer HVM, French-made Crotale and American-made Stormer HVM.
Despite all the support provided by the NATO, Ukraine is still struggling to rebuild its air defense capabilities. Russia says that it has destroyed more than 400 air defense systems of Kiev forces since the start of the special military operation in February.
The guy piloting the drone is actually genius, not all Western high-end anti-air weapons are actually avoidable, for a drone introduced in 2010 it has done impressively well. Btw this isn’t Russia’s best drone, Russia has far better drones like the S-70, Kronshtadt Orion and MIG Skat which are FAR better than this one, Russia only lost 16 Orlan-10 in this War, Ukraine lost 60 Bayraktar’s most advanced drones.
