The Armed Forces of the Russian Federation took control of an industrial zone in the southern part of Avdeevka, which served as a strategic stronghold of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the Donbass for almost ten years. LINK
On November 26, the Russian military continued the mop up operation to secure the recently captured positions. The Armed Forces of Ukraine (aFU) attempted some local counter attack but they were repelled. Russian mop up operations continue in the Vinogradniki district in the same southern part of the city, which is now in the semi-encirclement.
