On Saturday, intense clashes continued between the Syrian Army and Hayat Tahrir al-Sham (HTS) in the provincial capital of Dara’a without any changes at the frontline.
Loyalist sources announced that the Syrian Army killed 8 jihadists and destroyed 4 technical vehicles and over 5 HTS checkpoints in the districts of Tariq al-Sad and the Refugee Camp (Mukhayyam al-Naziheen) with artillery and tank shelling.
Opposition sources reported the death of 76 fighters mostly from HTS during the battles in the province in March. 19 of those were aliens. 11 were military commanders. IEDs were the main reason of the high deathtoll among militants.
Ahrar al-Sham commander Muneef Aqdah survived an IED attack on Saturday in the city of Al-Harak. A photo of his car after the attack:
According to pro-government sources, Hezbollah reinforcements are pouring into the city of Dara’a in preparation for a large offensive set to take place later this year. The goal of the operation is to expel jihadist forces from the provincial capital.

With Hezbolla reinforcing Darra, it looks like the party is over for HTS. Appears that the grand Jihadi spring offensive has come to an end on all fronts. Are they ready for the SAA counter offensive? Jihadi idiots all ready have many dead and wounded in N Hama.
i hope they are extremely unprepared for the fuck! ?
I wonder if its a good idea for Hezbollah to deploy in this area. Up north they’re relatively safe from Israeli airstrikes, but this close to Israel I wouldn’t be surprised for the IDF to provide ‘close air support’ to Al Nusra and ISIS again.
Hezbollah is also deployed in S Lebanon (very close to Israel). No further reports of Nutty Yahoo’s further air activity in Syria after the near miss.
you mean when they launched the S-200 a few weeks ago?
