The head of the National Security and Foreign Policy Committee of Iran’s parliament stated that Iran will prvide the military to Syria as soon as Tehran receives a request from the Assad government. Now, it’s an officially. Indeed, Iran has been helping the Syrian government since the start of the war. For example, members of the Iranian Army of the Guardians of the Islamic Revolution (IRGC) participate in the conflict at least as military advicers.

According to the head of the National Security and Foreign Policy Committee of Iran’s parliament, Russia’s military operation in Syria contributes to struggle against terrorism. Also it impacts positively efforts to reach a political settlement to the crisis.
“Iran’s military aid will be provided as soon as Tehran receives a request from the Syrian government. We are going to announce it immediately,” Alaeddin Boroujerdi, head of the National Security and Foreign Policy Committee of Iran’s parliament, said on Thursday
On Wednesday The Iranian delegation headed by Boroujerdi arrived in Damascus. Syrian President Bashar al-Assad is going meet Boroujerdi on Thursday.
