According to Iran’s Defense Minister, Hossein Dehqan, Iran will recieve the first batch of Russian-made S-300 surface-to-air missile defense system in the first quarter of 2016.
On Feb.9, Iran’s Defense Minister, Hossein Dehqan, said that the S-300 missile system which will be delivered to Iran is ready for shipment.
It will be the first batch of the military hardware recieved by Iran under the contract signed with Russia. The second batch is also expected to be recieved by the first half of 2016.
