Iran has begun using its stealthiest and fastest suicide drone, the Hadid-110, according to video footage released by state media on March 4.
The jet-powered Hadid-110, which was unveiled last year, features a stealthy faceted design. It is considered the Islamic Republic’s fastest drone, with a speed of over 510 kilometers per hour. The drone has a range of 350 kilometers, and carries a warhead weighing 30 kg.
The video released by Iranian state media shows multiple Hadid-110 being launched with the assistance of rocket boosters.
The drone was especially designed to strike sensitive targets like radars, command centers, and infrastructure. Taking into account the limited range of the Hadid-110, the drones seen in the footage were most likely used in attacks on targets in neighboring countries, specifically in Iraq, Kuwait, Bahrain, Qatar, or the United Arab Emirates.
The Islamic Republic has been launching retaliatory attacks against Israel and military facilities hosting or supporting United States forces in neighboring countries since the start of the American-Israeli attack on its territories last week.
Another wave of Iranian drone and missile attacks took place on March 5, with Israel being the prime target. Sirens had sounded in Tel Aviv, across central Israel, as well as in the occupied West Bank amid the attack, sending millions of people to shelters. A small number of missiles were launched in the attack, according to an initial assessment by the Israeli military.
No direct impacts were reported by Hebrew media, but missile fragments reportedly landed in several parts of central Israel.
Interceptions were also reported in the UAE, Kuwait, Qatar and Bahrain, which took the brunt of this wave of Iranian attacks.
Several missiles struck a refinery owned by Bahrain’s state oil company Bapco to the east coast of the island of Sitra, south of the capital, Manama. A massive fire broke out, but officials said that there were no injuries and refinery operations were continuing, with an assessment of the damage underway.
The UAE from its side said that at least 131 drones were intercepted by its air defenses during the day. Blasts were reported in the capital, Abu Dhabi, and the city of Ras Al-Khaimah, with no reports of any casualties or damage.
During the day, an Iranian military source told the Fars news agency that the Islamic Republic had launched over 500 ballistic and cruise missiles in addition to over 2,000 drones since the start of the war. The report claimed that 40% of the Iranian attacks targeted Israel and the other 60% targeted American sites in the region.
The last wave of strikes shows that Iran’s missile and drone capabilities have not been degraded in a notable manner yet. In fact, the use of Hadid-110 drones on the sixth day of the war suggests that the Islamic Republic still has some cards up its sleeve.

the question is, just how many drones and intercepting missiles does one have? the iranian admin & military should do its worst. no amount of ‘negotiations’ with the isreali apartheid regime or the brat pack in washington is going to bring peace. they have left no other option so strike the invaders hard. a us carrier for an iranian gunboat could be a fitting response. do that and there will be no more carriers willing to push their luck. practice makes perfect.
