Iran Vows To Continue Attacks On Kurdish Insurgents In Northern Iraq After Series Of Strikes (Videos)

Iran will continue strikes on the Iraqi Kurdistan Region until the threat to its national security is eliminated, Brigadier General Mohammad Pakpour, Commander of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) Ground Forces, said on November 22.

“Attacks on the anti-Iranian separatist groups in northern Iraq will be continued until the threat to our country is removed,” the Tasnim news agency quoted the guard’s commander as saying.

The commander went on to advised Iraqi authorities evacuate civilians from the vicinity of the headquarters and bases of “terrorists” in Kurdistan.

Brig. Gen. Pakpour remarks came just hours after a wave of Iranian drone strikes that targeted a base of the Iranian-Kurdish armed opposition group, Kurdistan Freedom Party (PAK), located to the south of the city of Erbil, the capital of Kurdistan.

The strikes were the most recent in a series of Iranian operations targeting Iranian-Kurdish armed opposition groups based in Kurdistan.

Late on November 21, the IRGC targeted several positions of Iranian-Kurdish armed opposition groups, including the Kurdistan Democratic Party of Iran (KDPI) and the Komala Party of Iranian Kurdistan, commonly shortened to Komalah, in the provinces of Erbil and al-Sulaymaniyah with ballistic missiles and suicide drones.

Iran believes that Iranian-Kurdish armed opposition groups in Kurdistan have been involved in a wave of violence on its territory that began after the death of Kurdish woman, Mahsa Amini, in mid-September. Amini’s death, which occurred while she was detained by the Iranian morality police, has triggered nationwide unrest in Iran.

Tehran has already accused these groups of supporting the protests and inciting violence against its security forces with help from foreign powers, including the United States who condemn recent Iranian strikes on Kurdistan.

Assad Defeated Zionists

They should strike Kurdish PKK-YPG terrorists where ever they are and even work with Erdougan to finish off the Kurdish scourge.

The Iranian ambassador in Baghdad said he gave the government of Iraqi Kurdistan 10 days to disarm all paramilitaries that Tehran considers terrorist, under the threat of a large-scale operation.

Today, the command of the IRGC announced that air strikes on objects of the Kurdish forces will continue.

Unfortunately, the Kurds were so stupid that they decided to act as vassals of the USA. now they are being crushed by the turks in the north and by the iranians in the east. Damascus should join and reconquer the Kurdish areas in Syria.
