Iranian Defense Minister: ISIS Collapse Means Defeat Of US Regional Policy

Iranian Defense Minister Brigadier General Amir Hatami says the defeat of ISIS is equal to the defeat of the US regional policy.

“The defeat of Daesh means the defeat of America’s regional policy and thus we should expect that this defeat would probably mark the beginning of a new era of hostilities and regional tensions,” with regional and extra-regional powers competing to consolidate their presence in conflict zones, Hatami said in an address to the Moscow Conference on International Security (MCIS) on April 4.

The defense chief noted that the collapse of ISIS could be followed by a new wave of hostilities in the region fueled by extra-regional powers. He also added that despite the defeat of ISIS the radical ideology still poses a threat to the world.

He continued by saying that ISIS could  still re-emerge anywhere around the world as long as the US and other Western powers continue to arm aggressive states in the Middle East and as long as Washington refuses to abandon its “unwise” regional policies based on “opportunism.”

He vowed that Iran supports a joint political initiative to solve the Syria crisis and welcomes regional cooperation in order to end the suffering of people in Yemen.

kudos to the islamic republic of iran for standing firm against zio satanic terrorists

Rob

Muslim world would be protected and successful if they don’t comply to Zionist led Washington and Zionist led EU member states.

Rob

Assad needs to change himself like Erdogan to slap Zionists Israel, Zionist led Washington and Zionist led EU on their faces like Erdogan.

TheLulzWarrior

A whole lot of ballistic missiles is why Iran has not been attacked yet.

jerry hamilton

Does anyone know what France is doing in Syria? They have been quiet.

Julian Clegg

Good question. We need more information and analysis about this.

Claire Langoulant

Our government helped Al Nusra and now is helping those crazy kurds. I’m disgusted.

jerry hamilton

Britain the same.

Merijn

Yeah Brits too

Merijn

My Dutch Government is Innocent…they never do anything…believe me… Mark Rutte told me personally https://uploads.disquscdn.com/images/118cf53ce21427c044ca70ceeca99fb087a7638d2abdd939f52038351df6b9dd.jpg

You can call me Al

yeah I live there and my wife translated what he was gobbing off. Problem is, I could swear that months / years ago, two Dutch F-16s led an assault which was all over the press.

Merijn

But that means he lied to me….that ain’t nice….

Sinbad2

The only honest thing I have ever heard a politician say was, “When it becomes serious you have to lie” (Jean Claude Juncker)

You can call me Al

mmm damn – beer ?.

Merijn

Good Idea…thnks..’n..Cheers

TheLulzWarrior

“We dindu nuffin, we beez goo bois! We need mo taxes fo dem programs!” T. Mark Rutte.

Merijn

Me too…

Bru

Yes, and not only this, but also: They financially founded and built bunkers for ISIS through the infamous Lafargue cement industrial complex. Hilary Clinton is on the board of Lafargue and I assume they also must have had orders to support ISIS from Fabius, the latter being famous the statement :”Al Nosra is doing a terrific job in Syria”…

Concrete Mike

One thing for sure is helping lafarge sell a crapload of cement powder to the orcs, yellow black green …

Merijn

Huntin’ Desert Frogs for Macroni..Haute Cuisine….c’est un Délicatesse du Cock de la Française…they’ll be back home soon

In order to deal with ISIS once and for all, its followers should be tortured out of existence by means so horrific that no one would even consider joining the group, and mere accusations of memberships should make people shave their beards and shit themselves.

jerry hamilton

Remember… At the end of the day, they are still American and Israeli soldiers. Killing them would be anti-semitic.

Eskandar Black

ISIS is not American or Israeli, and any person who want to make the case for antisemitism here is welcome to push their agenda. ISIS savages should be massacred with such brutality to break the programing and the fear they attempted to instill in others.

jerry hamilton

Why then was America and Israel supplying them with arms, food, shelter and training them?

Eskandar Black

Because they will support anyone to undermine their enemies. Israel believes Iran to be its enemy, and Syria a proxy state of Iran. You can agree with, or disagree with this, but this belief underlines their military activity in the region. I am not sure what your point is exactly in terms of stating the obvious. Yes, we all know that Israel supports al Qaeda type terrorists in the south, so does Jordan, US supports similar terrorists in the east, Turkey in the north. Doesn’t make it right, but doesn’t prove your point either.

jerry hamilton

What exactly do you think my point is? Occupied Palestine zionists regard all goy as either enemy or cattle. They happen to own America and most of the west. Hence the ME gets hammered and Israel say “it’s not my fault but Iran needs taking out.”

Eskandar Black

How is this tangent related to the initial post?

jerry hamilton

ISIS was formed by Mossad and the CIA to dispose Assad. Their wages were paid by the Pentagon et al. That makes them mercenaries but American and Israeli soldiers. Israels hospitals were full of injured ISIS. My initial post was sarcastic. Not towards you but towards the whole situation. Russia joined in just as ISIS started to attack Palestine which I suspect was the israeli hopes for ISIS. As a Brit, I have great respect for Putin and none for Britain. I suspect you didn’t understand my sarcasm, which is understandable.

gustavo

Let me put this clear for you. Israel-USA-NATO (with the help of Qatar, Saudis, Jordan, and Turkey) created and armed ISIS-Daesh-Alqaeda to destroy Syria infrastructure (with the excuse of change of regime). They provided money, logistic, tactic, training, weapons, and air support whenever be possible. In addition, USA-Israel support (for the moment) kurds-ISIS, to fight against Syria.

Sinbad2

Israel has the same foreign policy as the USA, that is any nation that could become a threat, should be destroyed. Israel wants to destroy Iran, because Israel wants to rule the ME, and Iran would not submit to Israeli rule, and so must be destroyed.

Pave Way IV

It might work. Same tactic was used by CIA/Mossad to recruit them.

Sinbad2

ISIS is the USA, the USA will just create another terror group. The Mujahideen, al Qaeda and ISIS are all American creations. I’m sure someone at Langley is already thinking up a catchy name for the next terror group.

If you want to stop the war of terror, you have to stop the USA.

https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=_HlMzVKOrUc IRAN MADE MISSILES I love Iran because they have made their nation safe from Zionists.

https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=4njkTk_OBSI Iran test-fires SOUMAR Land Attack Cruise Missile with 2500 Km range.

https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=wWqzxcY6-_w Iran successfully test-fires S-300 missile system

Published on 14 Oct 2015 Iran ICBM Intercontinental Ballistic Missiles-EMAD MISSILE HAS 5000 KM RANGE WITH high precision guidance warhead and control systems

According to the sources available, Iran produces a variety of nuclear ballistic missiles with ranges from 70Km to 2500Km, Cruise missiles with ranges from 20Km to 2500Km, air defence missile systems 4Km to 300Km range. Iran also produces independently nuclear power plants with 40 MWe to 1200 MWe and nuclear weapons. The total number of nuclear warheads with Iran are 36 which have already fixed on 36 long range nuclear missiles for their own defence. The missile and nuclear program of Iran is better than Pakistan.

jerry hamilton

I seriously hope they never have to use them.

Rob

Iran will definitely use them if they were bothered beyand tolerance or attacked them.

jerry hamilton

And so they should.

TheLulzWarrior

“Iran also produces independently nuclear power plants with 40 MWe to 1200 MWe and nuclear weapons.” True, nice that someone else knows! The normies doesn’t know that, tho. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PJ-8ESCFyXQ

jerry hamilton

I got 2 minutes into it before I was totally fed up. The idea is good but instead of building, they just repeated. I do however think I will totally ignore your lying posts in future.

gustavo

Iran was not nuclear weapons yet. The Uranium they have is just 25% U235 -75%U238, according to the agreement with USA. With this grade of U235 purification Iran can build satellite, submarine, electricity energy, and to be totally independent of western technology. Yes, Iran was advanced weapon technology on missile, drones, many other staff. Now with the S-300 Russian system, Israel is just afraid to attack Iran, that is why it try to get Saudis to do the job. However, Saudis have not idea what Iran is capable to do, and I am sure that Saudis will be totally destroyed by Iran in case of war.

Rob

Similarly no body was aware that Pakistan have nuclear weapons until they have detonated their 6 nuclear weapons in 1998 after India nuclear tests but I was aware that Pakistan has at least 36 nuclear weapons in 1986. In 1980 Pakistan have done some nuclear weapons cold tests.
