- The Iranian Navy dispatched its 61st naval group, consisting of a destroyer and a logistical vessel, on a mission to the Bab el-Mandeb Strait. Iranian naval groups have escorted 6,000 oil tankers in international waters over the past decade, according to Rear Admiral Afshin Tashak, the commander of the Southern Fleet;
- Warshisp of the Russian regional coastal defense forces carried out live-fire drills in Avachinsky Bay;
- Mine sweepers Mashinist, Elnya, Yadrin, Kolomna and Kotelnich of the Russian Northern Fleet conducted a series of drills in the Barents Sea;
- Steregushchiy-class corvettes Soobrazitelnyy and Steregushchiy of the Russian Baltic Fleet conducted liver fire-drills engaging mock enemy warships;
- Varshavyanka-class diesel-electric submarine Stary Sokol of the Russian Black Sea Fleet started combat drills in the Black Sea;
- Forces of the Russian Caspian Fleet conducted counter-EW and air-defense drills.
