- Iranian Navy Commander Rear Admiral Hossein Khanzadi has travelled to China to attend the upcoming 70th anniversary of the founding of the Chinese People’s Liberation Army Navy (PLAN). It’s expected that Iranian and Chinese counterparts would discuss the military and defense cooperation between the states;
- The Iranian Navy;s flotilla, consisting of Separ and Joshan warships, is set to make a three-day visit to Kazakhstan’s Aktau Port.
- On April 22, Admiral Gorshkov-class frigate Admiral Gorshkov and a group of support ships of the Russian Northern Fleet reached the Chinese port city of Qingdao. They would particiapte in the 70th anniversary of the PLAN parade.
- On April 19, the Kola Flotilla surface action group of the Russian Northern Fleet made up of the small anti-submarine ships Snezhnogorsk, Brest and Unga practised a range of anti-submarine tasks in the Barents Sea.
- On April 18, the Royal Thai Navy detachment held joint drills with Russian Pacific Fleet warships in the Sea fo Japan.
- On April 16, a mine-laying group made up of the large amphibious ships Alexandr Otrakovsky and Georgiy Pobedonosets from the Russian Northern Fleet’s Kola Flotilla sailed off to the Barents Sea to practise minelaying operations at the naval test sites.
- On April 16, ASW ship Admiral Vinogradov, Admiral Tributs, and middle sea tanker Irkut of the Russian Pacific Fleet arrived with unofficial visit to the port of Cam Ranh, Vietnam.
- The Russian Northern Fleet’s large anti-submarine ship Severomorsk has resupplied her stocks in the Limassol seaport, the Republic of Cyprus to continue her mission in the eastern part of the Mediterranean Sea.
