On February 3rd, Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps said they had freed the 2 remaining Iranian border guards who had been kidnapped at a border post and taken into Pakistan back in 2018.

The Quds Base of the Islamic Revolution Guards Corps Ground Force announced in a statement that its constant efforts and intelligence activities resulted in the release of the two border guards from Pakistan.

“A successful operation was carried out last Tuesday night to rescue two kidnapped border guards who were taken as hostages by Jaish ul-Adl organization two and a half years ago,” the IRGC said in a statement.

According to the statement, the soldiers were successfully transferred back to Iran.

Back in October 2018, 14 Iranian guards, including members of the Revolutionary Guards, were kidnapped by the Pakistan-based Iranian Sunni extremist group, Jaish al-Adl (Army of Justice), at the Mirjaveh border point in Iran’s southeastern Sistan and Baluchestan Province, who were later transferred to Pakistan.

Following the kidnapping incident, military officials formed a joint committee between Tehran and Islamabad to free the IRGC guards. While five of them were already released on November 15, 2018, another four Iranian soldiers were rescued by the Pakistani army on March 21, 2019.

Jaish ul-Adl, or Jaish al-Adl, is a Salafi jihadist militant organization that has been classified as a terrorist organization by Iran. This group has continuously been waging an armed struggle against the Iranian government under the pretense of a necessary act for the right of Baloch Sunnis in Iran.

Jaish ul-Adl operates from bases in the southeastern province of Sistan-Baluchestan and neighboring Pakistan, where it gets support from ethnic Baluch tribes.

It was founded in 2012 by Salahuddin Farooqui, a militant known for his opposition to Iran’s support for President Bashar al-Assad in Syria’s civil war.

Since then, it has claimed responsibility for dozens of deadly bombings, ambushes and other attacks on Iranian security forces in the restive region, as well as abductions.

Iran considers the organization — which it calls Jaish al-Zolm (Army of Injustice in Arabic) — a terrorist group supported by the United States and Israel as well as regional rivals Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates.

Back in February 2020, the commander of Iran’s Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) Ground Force Mohammad Pakpour said that Saudi Arabia supports the organization and that is why it was so well-armed.

This shows that the terrorists enjoy the “all-out backing of the U.S., Saudi Arabia and their regional allies,” Pakpour said, according to Press TV.

The general added that the IRGC Ground Force had dealt a “heavy blow” to the terrorists despite the Saudi support.

Over the past years, Iranian security forces and border guards have engaged in several clashes with the organization, many of whom tried to enter the country from Pakistan and Iraq to carry out attacks.

Pakistan is a corrupt failed US vassal state and Iran has given them a lot of latitude despite the fact that Saudi and Zionist funded Wahhabi terror groups under the aegis of CIA operating from lawless Baluchistan. There is also a full scale liberation war being waged by the Baluch who have lost 200,000 dead and missing to the brutal occupation by the Punjabi army. Iran and Indian ties have reached new highs as General Amir Hatami is visiting India and our FM is in Tehran. It is good to be our Iranian friends liberate their men from the Pakistani terrorists.

lol Ashok, claiming Pakistan is a terrorist state but saying Iran is not. Both are terroristic states, each one with his own Islamic agenda. Most Hindus share our views and Modi is playing a nice game with the mullahs in Tehran, do not think for a second he prefers them over the ties with Israel.

WANKER!

Captain Freedom

lol, claiming Iran is a terrorist state but saying Israel is not.

We don’t use suicide bombers against civilians, so no we are not a terrorist state.

Captain Freedom

True, you have more sophisticated methods, like bombing Gaza after claiming that they launched a missile attack on israeli soil (without proof). I guess palastinians just love being bombed, so they always send a lone rocket, knowing that it won’t do shit and only provoke a “response” from IDF. And they’re doing that for years and years and years… so stupid!

<>

Yup, tell it to Hamas.

Iran always successfully uses soft and hard power in achieving its goals. This is great news.
