Government forces also re-opened the al-Kisk-Tal Afar road and captured the “Border Citadel”.

The remaining ISIS fighters are now regrouping in al-Ayaqiah town and rebuilding their defenses there, according to Iraqi sources. Al-Ayadiah is considered the second biggest town in Tal Afar area after Tal Afar town itself.
From its side the Iraqi forces will likely work to besiege ISIS fighters in al-Ayadia before storming it.
