The Iraqi Army has captured the second Al-Mashirafa district as well as the areas of Al-Khansa and Dar Michael north of the western part of the city of Mosul. Iraqi forces continued their advance in the Al-Mashirafa area, taking control control of 80% of the area. The Iraqi army also captured the northern parts of Makbarat Wadi Akbar, approaching allied forces in the Al-Tanak district.
In the course of their advance, Iraqi forces destroyed four ISIS VBIEDs and captured three ISIS militants in the Al-Kosiat area in Al-Mashirfa.
The Iraqi Air Force destroyed an ISIS headquarters and a workshop manufacturing VBIEDs for ISIS in the 17 Tammoz district on the right side of Mosul.

From its side, ISIS claimed that it destroyed a bulldozer belonging to the Iraqi Army and damaged a BMP-1 vehicle in the southern parts of Al-Haramat and Al-Musheirfa. A battle tank and some armored vehicles of the Iraqi Army were reportedly destroyed as a result of two suicide bombings.
The Iraqi popular Mobilization Units (PMU) discovered a training camp and an arms depot belonging to ISIS west of the city of Karbala.
The PMU destroyed two armored vehicles and an arms depot of ISIS in the village of Maktal Khanzir near Tal Afar after it was shelled by PMU’s artillery.
The Iraqi Prime Minister Haidar al-Abadi office issued a statement denying the existence of any negotiations between Iraq and the United States on deployment of US forces in Iraq after defeating ISIS.
