On November 25, the Iraqi Army and the Popular Mobilization Units (PMU) liberated the al-Anbar–Saladin desert in the al-Jazeera region in western Iraq, according to the PMU media wing. The Al-Anbar–Saladin desert is a half of the al-Jazeera region territory.
The PMU media wing added that the Iraqi Army and PMU also reopened the strategic Hatar-Rawa and Rawa-al-Saynia highways, and captured the following villages:
Eyn al-Tarfawi, al-Bu Adel, al-Qariyah, al-Shahriyah, Tar al-Baqar, al-Hajal, Izghitun, Umm Khufah, Mustafik al-Awliyah, Ras al-Suhul, Tal Izetah, Tal Hadid.
During their advance, government fighters killed 39 members of ISIS including 6 suicide bombers, and destroyed 6 VBIEDs of the terrorist group. The Iraqi Army and the PMU also captured several ammo depots and command posts of ISIS, according to the PMU media wing.

From its side, the ISIS-linked news agency Amaq reported on November 24 that 6 VBIEDs of ISIS attacked the Iraqi Amry and the PMU in the eastern part of the al-Jazeera region. At least 8 vehicles were destroyed and several fighters of the PMU were killed during the attacks, according to Amaq.
Iraqi government forces will likely capture the second half of the al-Jazeera region in the upcoming days, effectively eliminating the formal presence of ISIS in Iraq. However, the terrorist group’s sleeper cells will remain in various regions acrsoss the country.

The world wishes you the iraqi army and Syrian government forces all the best into the future..brave people’s who are fighting the good fight..will be remembered as fighting on the right side of history..If anyone needs to be reminded of the consequences of giving into the “American, IsraelI, British, Saudi” alliance of destabilising others countries with there proxy’s “ISIS” we need not look outside the region but to Egypt who is again bleeding because of there sinister agendas..we’re reminded again to thank the peoples of iran Syria Russia and the resistance movement of hezbollah..its been a joy to watch the alliance between you in the fight against “true evil”..sadly your people’s have suffered so much but your future will be stronger from your struggles ! “They” the elites of the west didn’t expect the Syrian army to never stop fighting against a far more bigger financial, militarily, insidiously greedy gang of criminals.
