Iraqi Commander: Popular Mobilization Units Are Ready To Intervene Against ISIS In Syria

FILE IMAGE: PMU fighters are in Tal Afar

The Iraqi Popular Mobilization Units (PMU) are coordinating with the Iraqi and Syrian governments in order to eliminate the remaining ISIS fighters in Syria, Kassem Musleh, Commander of the PMU’s operations in the western part of the province of al-Anbar, told the al-Mayadeen TV on January 15.

“The PMU is ready to enter Syrian territory to eliminate the organization [ISIS],” Musleh stressed.

The Iraqi commander also revealed that the U.S. is reinforcing its troops in Syria, which contradicts with President Donald Trump’s recent decision to withdraw American forces from the war torn country.

A day after Musleh’s interview with al-Mayadeen, deputy chairman of the PMU’s committee said that Iraqi forces will not fight outside Iraq without a direct order from the Commander in Chief of the Iraqi military.

“The PMU will not fight outside the homeland’s border unless there is an order from the Commander in Chief,” Abu Mahdi al-Muhandis said during an interview with the Iraqi Nas news website.

The PMU reinforced its positions along the Syrian-Iraqi border over last few months in order to prevent the remaining ISIS fighters in the middle Euphrates River Valley from sneaking into Iraq. However, this step didn’t end ISIS’ presence on the border, especially that US-backed forces are yet to capture the remaining strongholds of the terrorist group in Syria.

This is an interesting report, but unless the US has changed it’s airstrike policy like they did around Manbij, the Iraqis or Syrian government coalition are vulnerable to getting hit by US airstrikes. Until the problem with the SADF upgrade not deterring IAF airstrikes can be resolved. I’d be surprised to see the Jewmerican partition project in NE Syria called off.

It’s unfortunate that the Russians have dropped the ball of winning the Syria war quickly when they had the opportunity to do so. By selling their Syrian allies out to the Jews. In favor of a long drawn out Yinon plan continuation of the conflict. But unless something changes, it looks like that’s what’s happening. The Jews are once again damaging the Russian’s reputation by making them look like fools and cowards pandering to the Jew miscreants.

After the massive success of defeating the terrorists in most of Syria. This is a tragic turn of events. The problem is correctable. But the longer that it drags out, the more that it will damage Russia’s reputation.

If the jews have that much influence and its seen they are doing relative well, You should ask gor being a colony of them.

This article is misleading, in that the Iraqi PMU’s answer directly to Iranian IRGC Al-Quds Force Commander Gen. Sulemenei, who answers directly to Ayatollah Khamenei.

If one looks at the map, U.S., British and French special forces and their bases are sitting ducks to be overrun with no real effort needed. The U.S. and its allies are in effect trapped in what is called in military jargon, a Double Envelopment, or Pincer. Couple that with the highly accurate SRBM’s of the IRGC and it spells doom for U.S. and its allies in the region. Even if the U.S. was to instill a draft and attack full force with hundreds of thousands(which they logistically cant, for that would take too much time), they would be absorbed by the millions of armed fighters of the region, the Syrian Arab Army, NDF, Hezbollah, IRGC, Iraqi Hezbollah, Iraqi PMU’s, Arab tribes and local civilian help.

It would be the war that led to the ousting of the U.S., Britain and France from the Middle East and the spape-shifting Zionist entity returned to the Palestinians as Palestine.

And I’m not even including the Iranian Armed Forces, if the war would develop and spread, which will most certainly happen. Iran has 17 million estimated Basij volunteers who swore an oath to fight any aggression and liberate Palestine.

Any U.S., British and French armies sent into the fray would be absorbed and annihilated.

I agree in: This article is misleading, in that the Iraqi PMU’s answer directly to Iranian IRGC Al-Quds Force Commander Gen. Sulemenei, who answers directly to Ayatollah Khamenei. Its important who declare this and that.

Even little Saddam was a big mouthfull for You, but of course it solved overpopulation, unimployment and Young people should support old overcorrupt Baals demanding better hay for cars – or what the Iranian Muhammed Economics are in Iraq.

Well that’s a relief, it wasn’t guaranteed that the Iraqi government was willing to allow the PUK to participate in anything at all, the PUK offered to help the YPG defend its territory from Erdogan a few months ago, but nothing was said officially from the Iraqi government one way or the other concerning that, but this is just as good, now they can go to Syria and help the YPG kill Turks and say they’re only there to help fight Isis, perfect. The Iraqis have threatened to boot the US out and are also allowing its PUK fighters to help the YPG, I think the US is about to have some trouble with the Iraqis too soon, LOL. I wonder if the Iranian Kurds will be next to offer to help fight Isis in Syria, LOL.
