The Iraqi Army and the Popular Mobilization Units (PMU) are clearing the Euphrates Valley from ISIS terrorists in western Iraq. The army and the PMU have recently liberated Simmah, Ja’fariyah, Bubiyah and other points on the northern bank of the Euphrates River.
The ongoing advance is aimed at setting foothold for an operation to liberated the ISIS-held town of Rawa, which is also located on the northern bank.
