The Iraqi Army and the Popular Mobilization Units (PMU) have liberated the entire subdistrict of Ubaydi from ISIS terrorists in an area east of the ISIS-held border town of al-Qaim. Subdistrict of Ubaydi is located on the right bank of the Euphrates and includes the villages of New Ubaydi, Khaseem and Rafidah.
Iraiq forces launched an advance on the ISIS-held town of al-Qaim last week. Since then, they had liberated a large area east and south of it and reached the outskirts of the town.
As soon as al-Qaim is liberated, the army and its allies will establish a full control over the Iraqi part of the Deir Ezzor-Baghdad highway. If the Syrian Army liberate the town of al-Bukamal on the Syrian part of the border, the highway will become a vital supply line between two countries.

Sorry, I do no understand – it states “Reports of Iraqi & Turkish troop took over crossing between KRG & Turkey is baseless”. Maybe I am missing the point; help please.
it means that Iraq has regained control of the area in which the oil pipes that transit from Iraq to Turkey are back in Iraqi govt controlled hands! Also the border crossings! This means that Iraqi Kurds have no control over export routes of Iraqi oil anywhere!
Good news because Israel wants this oil BADLY!
Another backfire for Israel and a win for Iran, Iraq and Syria! Turks also don’t want the Kurds to have control of this either because if they did, it means that the Kurds could possibly export huge amounts of oil (into a Turkish region that is populated by Kurds also)! Oil exports means money and power and would easily fund a newly annexed nation state (i.e Kurdistan)!
