The Iraqi military has ambushed a group of suspected terrorists from Syria who attempted to smuggle load of explosives into the country.
Maj. Gen. Yehia Rasool, a spokesman for the Iraqi Commander-in-Chief, said in an official statement that the suspected terrorists were ambushed by the 66th Infantry Brigade of the Iraqi military’s 20th Division.

The suspected terrorists, numbered 31, were all apprehended by the Iraqi military. According to Maj. Gen. Rasool, all of them came from Raqqa.
Iraqi forces seized 344 detonators and 140 blocks of TNT explosives that the suspects attempted to smuggle into Iraq for unknown reasons.
“They [the suspected terrorists] and the criminal evidence were handed over to the specialized authorities to complete their investigative papers and present them to the judiciary,” Maj. Gen al-Rasool said in the statement that was released on August 14.
The spokesman told the UAE-based al-Ain TV that Iraqi authorities are now improving security at the border with Syria by building fortifications, installing thermal surveillance cameras as well as by monitoring the border line with drones.
The infiltrators may be linked to ISIS, whose cells are highly active in the western Iraqi province of al-Anbar right on the border with Syria.
If true its a good job.

Isis is a Mossad/CIA subsidiary. Both of whom are thoroughly embedded with the US coalition in Iraq. And are directing attacks against Iraq from within it. It’s in Iraq’s interest to complete the withdrawal of US forces and equipment from Iraq. And Mossad and the CIA along with it.
If these were ISIS terrorists then there is a fair probability that they ain’t Syrian.
