Iraqi Popular Mobilization Units Advance South Of ISIS Border Stronghold Of Al-Ba'aj

The Popular Mobilization Units (PMU) have captured the Al-Sakar residential compound in southern at the ISIS stronghold of Al-Ba’aj near the border with Syria.

PMU fighters have evacuated all the civilians from the residential compound temporarily until it is fully secured. Moreover, The PMU is currently working to siege ISIS militants in the town of Al-Ba’aj from the south after it managed to capture most of the northern areas.

A spokesman for the PMU, Al-Assadi, denied all reports that the PMU had officially entered the Syrian territory. He said that the PMU is an official part of the Iraqi Armed Forces and has no presence outside the Iraqi territory.

There have been fake news that the PMU has captured some SDF-held villages in north of the Syrian city of Deir Ezzor.

Deputy Commander of the PMU, Abu Mahdi al-Mohandes, assured that the PMU will hand over the border to the Iraqi border guards after securing it. The PMU will secure the entire Syrian-Iraqi border with the direct support of the Iraqi Air Force and the Iraqi Army.

The Iraqi PMU is an umbrella organization of various Iraqi militias and is part of the Iraqi Armed Forces. According to some experts, these groups are expected to enter Syria under its own name instead of entering under the name of the PMU, in order to avoid exposing the Iraqi government to any international or local problems.

The west never gives up. Having been thwarted in its intention to have its proxies take over the whole of Syria it now seem intent on just dividing it into pieces and separating Syria from Iraq. They probably think that this will serve their original intention just as well as making a puppet out of the whole of Syria. One things for sure, they will never give up on their long term plans .

Nothing is for sure . Their long term plans are ironically creating the reverse of their goal . The world is big , plans are small .
