The Iraqi Popular Mobilizations Units (PMU or Hashd Al-Shaabi) are advancing on the strategic Tal Afar Airport, located west of Mosul. The airport is now controlled by the ISIS terrorist group.
The PMU has liberated a banch of villages on the way to the Tal Afar Airport and reached its outskirts. Now, the PMU is deployed in about 3 km from the airport and now is readying to storm this strategic site.
If the Tal Afar Airport is liberated, the PMU will be able to advance on the town of Tal Afar and to cut off the ISIS way to Syria.
