20 ISIS members have been killed and 17 vehicles belonging to the terrorist group destroyed during clashes near the ISIS-held town of Tal Afar west of the Iraqi city of Mosul, according to reports in media accounts linked to the Iraqi Popular Mobilization Units (PMU).
Intense clashes between the PMU and ISIS took place near Tal Afar on Sunday and result in heavy losses among the terrorists, according to reports.
The PMU sees the ISIS-held town of Tal Afar as a mid-term goal of its operation in the western countryside of Mosul. However, it is not clear when the storm of the town will be started.
