The Islamic Resistance in Iraq – ‘Ashab al-Kahf continues to attack US-led coalition supply convoys in Iraq in the framework of the al-Qa’im Operations.
Between April 10 and 14, ‘Ashab al-Kahf attacked five supply convoys in the provinces of al-Qadisiyyah, Dhi Qar, Saladin, Babylon and near the capital, Baghdad, with improvised explosive devices (IEDs). The group released videos showing three of the attacks.
‘Ashab al-Kahf kicked off the al-Qa’im Operations on April 3. Back then, the pro-Iranian group demanded a complete withdrawal of US forces from Iraq.
Despite enjoying much public support in Iraq, ‘Ashab al-Kahf has been facing some real pressure from the country’s security forces.
On April 14, security forces uncovered and dismantled an IED that was planted by the group on a highway linking Baghdad International Airport with the highly-secured Green Zone. A source from the group told the Sabereen news channel on Telegram that the IED was planted to target a convoy of British security company G4S.

‘Ashab al-Kahf and several other pro-Iranian factions in Iraq have been attacking US-led coalition supply convoys and bases for more than two years now in response to the assassination of Abu Mahdi al-Muhandis, Deputy-Commander of Iraq’s Popular Mobilization Units, and Commander of Iran’s Quds Force, Qassim Soleimani.
The US appears to be determined to keep its troops in Iraq for the long term. Washington’s allies in the country have been working nonstop to set the ground for this.
Syria, it is within your rights to bomb the entire LOT of them up and out of your country. Do you have the bombs for it?

Their main reason is to scare their truck drivers and just remember some small Iraqi groups know the locations of their logistic supplies. If you remember the US war in Iraq and Afghanistan, their logistic supplies were a joke. Do you remember Blackwater? They started as a logistic group for yanquis in Afghanistan and grow from there…
