On the morning of April 1, the Islamic Resistance in Iraq claimed a drone attack against an important target in Israel. The claim did not clarify what was the target of the strike. In their turn, the Israeli Defense Forces reported a drone attack on the Israeli naval base in Eilat.
The locals filmed the explosion in the area of Eilat. Footage from the area confirmed damage to a building, there was a large display with the Israeli flag.
“The fighters of the Islamic Resistance in Iraq targeted a vital target in our occupied territories on Monday morning, using appropriate weapons,” the Iraqi umbrella group of anti-terror factions announced in a statement.
The drone struck the building, right behind which an Israeli Navy corvette is visible standing at the pier. According to the local reports, one of Israel’s Sa’ar 6-class Navy corvettes. The building reportedly suffered minor damage, and the corvette itself was not damaged.
This is already becoming a trend. From time to time, the enemy’s means of destruction nevertheless began to overcome the Israeli air defense.
The Islamic Resistance in Iraq vowed to proceed with its retaliatory operations until Israel stops its genocide in Gaza.
