Iraqi forces continue their wide-scale effort to eliminate the remaining ISIS cells and infrastructure in the country:
- Government troops have destroyed 2 ISIS tunnels in the province of Nineveh;
- An ISIS member was detained when he was trying to set up an IED on the road near Samara;
- 5 persons were detained over terrorism-related crimes in Samara;
- 2 civilians were injured near the town of Akashat.
