Iraqi security forces (ISF) have made a fresh push against ISIS terrorists in the western part of the Iraqi city of Mosul.
ISF troops have liberated the district of Mesherfa al-Thalitha, the northern part of the Mesherfa al-Thaniya district, the Mesherfa water purification station and the villages of Mesherfa and Dijla.
Pro-government sources reported that ISF have killed a dozen of ISIS vehicles and destroyed two car bombs in this operation.
The advance in northwestern Mosul would allow ISF to tighten the siege on the ISIS-held part of Mosul.
